Will it be the best Curse of the Caribbean Film?

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge

Meanwhile it is six years since the last "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie ran in the cinemas. At that time, one thought that the air had gone out. The story appeared too used. Now the Piraten epic will be shown in the cinemas again in May 2017.

Once, Captain Jack Sparrow lost his pirate ship "Black Pearl" through a mutiny. Hector Barbarossa became the new captain. On an island, the pirates found a treasure on which a curse lay. Its owners became undead travelling the world's sea, as long as the treasure itself had not been brought back completely to its place of discovery.

So far the original prehistory. After many adventures in the last parts, where Captain Sparrow ended up in numerous messes, he now returns to the cinema screens of the world.

In the last part "Strange Tides", Jack Sparrow was still searching for the source of eternal youth. In the new film called "Salazar's Revenge“, he chases the trident of Neptune. However, Salazar is close at his heels. He still has a bone to pick with the sometimes so doltish pirate.

For a long time it was puzzled whether Keira Knightly would return to the screen as Elizabeth Swann. Many fans were happy after the trailer for the film was released - she will be in on it. In addition, other well-known faces get a chance: Orlando Blum plays Will Turner and Geoffrey Rush will be Captain Barbarossa as usual. Brenton Thwaites as Will Turner's son and Kaya Scodelario, who will play the strongest female role in the new edition of the film, will bring a breath of fresh air.

After the film was recently presented to a selected audience at the Cinema-Con in Las Vegas, critics agree: Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is clearly better than the precursor, perhaps even the best film since the first part. The experienced Norwegian directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg have taken care of this. They had previously shot films that played on the water and that jeopardised seafarers to numerous dangers of the sea.
